Saucony Originals has managed to marry food and sneakers in such a eccentric yet approachable way that it makes you wonder why the intersection of foodie and sneakerhead hasn’t been more fruitful. Many of Sauconys biggest hits have taken inspiration from food dishes.
It is very clear that Saucony Originals is obsessed with food. It’s not the first time a manufacturer has taken inspiration from food or restaurants to create sneakers. Saucony has a history of making food-inspired kicks, and we made a list with some Saucony’s tasty sneakers.

The turquoise Shadow Original takes inspiration from all the green ingredients including cucumber rolls and edamame. Lastly, the pink Shadow Original emulates the color palettes of ginger, raw tuna, and salmon.
