While nearly every culture has noodles of some sort, Italians have the amazing pasta which are incredibly easy to cook, and a quick sauce is so easy to throw together. The end result is definitely impressive!

If you’re looking for an easy pasta dish, this spaghetti pesto burrata is the perfect choice. Fresh and tasty, this recipe will satisfy your needs.

INGREDIENTS (for 2 servings)

  • 200 g spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons homemade basil pesto
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • fresh burrata
  • 1/2 cup water pasta reserved

Step 1: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/ 2 cup pasta water.

Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, add spaghetti, pesto and water pasta, then toss pesto and pasta together until incorporated.

Step 3: Turn the heat off, add parmesan cheese and toss for another 2 minutes until the pasta becomes creamy.

Step 4: Place the hot spaghetti on a plate then place the burrata in the center and gently pull apart the balls. Sprinkle some pine nuts and serve.
